stop handicapping our children and only allow evidence based science in all of our public schools.

The United States has consistently done bad in math and science for far too long. Many of our students are learning the wrong things. Intelligent design theories don't add any value to a science education. It is a religious belief. How then, can we allow these so called theories to be taught at any of our public schools. Any credible scientist believes in the theory of evolution, for which ample evidence exists. Our government was founded on the idea of separation of church and state. We need to teach our students to think critically, to question everything. Our country can be one of the best once again. This is a small but necessary step. Please don't let our religious institutions hijack our public school system. It will not help anyone and only handicap us from the rest of the world.
