Stop Health Care Price Gouging

There is no free market in health care. Congress has allowed the pharmaceutical industry, lab companies, hospitals, nursing homes and others to hide in a veil of secrecy about the prices they charge. This effectively sanctions massive gouging of businesses, states and taxpayers. Hospitals have increasing power to set prices well in excess of their costs.
Health care should not solely be about profit. The growth in health care costs is unsustainable. Allow Medicare the leverage to achieve fair rates for drugs, devices and medical equipment.
Until health care price gouging is reined in, we will continue to waste taxpayer dollars to this ever growing corrupt industry.
