Stop high school regents testing in New York State

High school students already have enough testing to worry about and in my opinion regents testing takes away basic human liberties. New York State high school students have to take weekly exams and quizzes, finals, midterms, module exams, PSAT, SATs, and so on. Regents shouldn't determine someone's graduation. I've seen teenagers have to retake classes and years of study because they have a hard time in one particular subject. Through out the year kids are pressured to take these exams and if they don't pass they are forced to take classes in the summer too. Give teenagers their freedom back. These tests are only getting harder and more of them are failing. This is the type of thing that lowers selfesteem and makes us feel unsafe.
