Created by D.S. on June 28, 2013

Stop HOAs from restricting Amateur Radio Operators ability to put up any type of antenna.
This is a real issue. Many Amateur Radio Operators would be very happy providing there community with communications in times of emergency. However, many or most HOAs will not allow any type of Amateur Radio Antennas.
We have seen many states passing regulations prohibiting HOAs from imposing these type of restrictions. As they have come to recognize the real value of Amateur Radio Operators in times of emergencies.
The saying goes. When all else fails… Amateur Radio gets through.
In 1997 the FCC imposed rules prohibiting HOAs from stopping homeowner from putting a satellite dish up to watch TV.

We as Amateur Radio Operators would like the same consideration as that granted direct broadcast
