Our city police have become militarized. Police uniforms have been exchanged for military gear. Police cars replaced with Humvees & other military vehicles. Standard weapons replaced with who knows what. They are allowed to taser citizens without just cause. They behave like they are in a combat zone attacking a declared enemy of the nation. No wonder people on all sides are alarmed. These are signs of a police state not a democracy. This must be stopped now & turned around. Homeland Security has overstepped it's boundaries. It is sucking the life out of nation. Put a cap on this program Let's become a nation of reason. Extremism will destroy us.
