There are no reasonable grounds for preventing mrmbers of Dáil or Sesnad Éireann from entering the United States.
Elected representatives of friendly nations, to which 40+ million Americans continue to have an alegiance should be welcomed as a matter of course - not prevented from visiting. Senator Trevor O Clochartaigh was recently prevented from flying to the US by homeland security - in Dublin airport! This is outrageous and has a very anti Irish-American taste to it.
