Homeland Security continues to invade public social media and targets our youth using extreme measures on children. By taking actions such as arrest they violate our youth, causing them to go underground with their concerns and forcing them to hide their thoughts and eventually promting actions against those they preceive have wronged them. This in itself may stop one but creates several which may now go undetected. It labels them as securtiy risks and can infact inpede their futures.
Notifying appropriate youth authorities and setting up better mental health and counseling for youth at risk on a national level and awareness of risky behaviors our youth engage in would be far more beneficial in the long term. Scaring children into submission is never effective.
