Stop house-bounding perfectly capable "Disabled" people by basing their "Disability" Status on their income only!

Created by R.W. on December 20, 2011

There are millions of qualified "Disabled" people who would love to work, pay taxes, and be as productive a member of society as possible. But, By current Medicare & Social Security Rule & Reg if the "Disabled" person makes more than approx. $1000 Per Month on a regular basis, They are no longer "Disabled" and they lose their Social Security and Medicare Coverage at that moment. This is nonsensical, anti-productive and financially foolish! Someone who is Blind, Is missing arms or legs, or the like is still "Disabled" regardless of how much money they make around their "Disability." Wouldn't it be wiser financially to encourage them to work, collect premiums for their Medicare Coverage - which they would continue to get, tax their total income, rather than paying them to be house-bound?
