This petition is to stop H.R. 378 from prohibiting U.S. citizens the right to purchase or posses body armor.
We the people have the inalienable right to life, liberty, and the persuit of happiness. This ban would infringe on our ability to provide a level of protection to this life for ourselves, and our families from threats that are outside the scope, and or capability of our governments.
Therefore, we the people preserve our right to manufacture, fabricate, purchase, own, possess, and transport body armor, to include plates, vests, helmets, and other ballistic materials, regardless of NIJ (National Institute of Justice) threat level classification, as law abiding, and non-violent feloneous citizens, or legal permenant U.S. residents of these United States of America.
