Thousands of Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since July 8th invasion of Israel in Gaza, mostly children and women. The only working power plant in Gaza was destroyed by the Israeli military. Seven children were killed while playing on a swing set. The Israel army shelled an UN-run school in Jabaliya refugee camp, at least 15 people, mostly children and women, died during relentless bombardment across the territory. “Nothing more shameful than attacking sleeping children”, said Ban Ki-moon, UN GS. It needs to be understood that killing Palestinians indiscriminately and imposing an occupation and siege on Gaza will never, ever make anyone safer. It may fuels the wave of violence. I beg the people of conscience to act now and stop this violence; promote peace and justice for all.
