Stop I-69

Created by G.A. on October 21, 2011

All along the proposed I-69 corridor, local governments have been fighting a pitched battle with state DOTs. No one wants I-69 in their back yard, but state governments are selling these lucrative rights of way to foreign corporations, even as they are acquiring the land using eminent domain. This battle looks the same in Indiana as it does in Texas. But we are fighting it one community at a time, while it is truly a national issue.

The FHWA needs to weigh in and tell state governments to listen to their citizens when it comes to I-69.
