We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Stop the ICANN handover to corporate interests, which will censor access to small websites using a dns routing loophole.

Created by A.A. on September 30, 2016

A lie by omission: "The IANA functions contract 'won’t safeguard freedom of expression on the Internet because neither the DNS nor the U.S. Government’s role provide any authority over content on the Internet.' Sovereign states regulate content on the Internet within their borders." A lie that does not say anything about ACCESS to content which depends purely on DNS resolution, which ICANN will have full authority over. I can run a website with any content I want, but if nobody can access my website because a route cannot be found to my server(s), it's useless. This is the technicality loophole that allows them to retain the appearance of "freedom of expression." Stop the ICANN takeover that will cede root control of DNS to corporate interests on an international scale by October 1st!
