Petition for the Obama Administration to impose a federal ban on weapons that can be disguised as other objects, such as smartphones.
The company, Ideal Conceal, has announced that they are releasing a .38 caliber handgun later this year that is designed to look like a regular smartphone when folded up.
Not only would this pose a serious threat to the general public, but also to the police officers that protect us, as any smartphone could now potentially be a threat to their safety. This gun could easily be brought into public areas in states where concealed carry is illegal, or even into a school or airport without it being noted as a potential danger.
We, as a nation, must take a stand to keep the public, our law enforcement, and our children safe
