Thousands of illegal immigrants flood into the southern most parts of the United States every year. All have various reasons, but in most cases they are in search for work. Many farmers, ranchers, or business owners may prefer hiring illegal immigrants, because they will accept a low salary, whereas a U.S. citizen may not. As of July, 2012, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics demonstrated 8.3% of Americans were without work. One of the main goals of this country should be to create jobs; however, America is not entitled to create jobs for illegal immigrants. The Department of Labor should not allow illegal immigrants to work in the United States until the unemployment rate decrease.
