Stop Illinois from requiring its firearms owners to have a FOID card to own a gun.

The state of Illinois needs to stop forcing its gun owning law abiding citizens to have a FOID card to own a gun, buy a gun, possess a gun, or just to buy ammo in general. The state is capitalizing on your 2nd Amendment right in which the citizens already have, by making you puchase the card. If the card expires the gun owner is classified as a felon until the card is renewed as well as several other ways they use the card to strip your rights. Since when does your 2nd amendment expire? It dont. This unconsitutional practice needs to be stopped and true 2nd Amendment rights need to be honored and restored as intended by the founding fathers. You have the right to have and own a firearm without a card, the 2nd Amendment clearly states that. Dont let the state corrupt your rights any longer
