Stop the import of Chinese processed and/or unprocessed foods in to the United States.

The US Department of Agriculture announced on Friday that it has approved four Chinese poultry processors to begin shipping meat to the U.S. The poultry that processors are allowed to ship will initially be restricted to cooked meat from birds raised in the U.S. But given China's food safety problems, there is fear that this is just the 1st volley across the bow to allow meat raised and processed in China to make its way onto our tables. Worse yet, Americans will not know the origin of these products and will unwillingly be subjected to the conditions Chinese nationals currently endure in their food chain. Lastly, international food plants are difficult to oversee for quality assurance since visits for inspection are announced in advance, losing the benefit of surprise inspections.
