As Americans we all understand we are a nation of immigrants. Many of our forefathers immigrated here from other countries and decided to follow their heart and the American dream. That said no people group that has immigrated to the USA carry with them the level of risk for domestic terrorism as the Syrian refugees have.
As a American and United States Marine I urge you Mr. President to forgo the importing of Syrian refugees to our homeland. With the recent attacks on Paris it is clear that ISIL has infiltrated the group of Syrian refugees you are now planning to give shelter too.
We the people of this great United States ask you to reconsider your position with the Syrian refugees and close our borders to any Nation or people group that are waging Jihad against the world. Thank you!
