Stop income/retirement pay to all members of the House, Senate, and President when the Federal gov't is in default.

Created by A.E. on January 16, 2013

The persistent inability of the US gov't to meet it's financial responsibilities to its citizens and its creditors continues to infuriate the people of the USA. This is a self inflicted problem by our leaders in government. Regardless of one's political view or party, our government is failing to meet its duties and responsibilities to the people of this country. The livelihoods and basic needs of its citizens, ie: Social Security, VA benefits, etc.. are threatened as being in danger everytime the government can't pay its bills. Neither The President, nor members of Congress petition or offer their own income and retirement benefits as being subject to such questionable existence. An act of good faith is that no member of gov't receive income/retirement pay when the US gov't is in default.
