Stop the increase in social security tax for Americans with family income of $150,000 or less.

Created by W.F. on January 04, 2013

The congress has silently let the social security withholding tax to increase from 4.2% to 6.2%. This will affect the majority of American families. This is a decrease in net income for most of us. If you are making $50,000 a year, you will be paying $1,000 more on social security tax. To make more than 80% of Americans pay more taxes isn't a wise idea and will only hurt our economy further. We urge the administration to set up a cut line at $150,000 for family income, where the vast majority will not be affected by this increase.
