According to the Natural Resources Defense Council, “Though Americans make up just 4 percent of the world's population, we produce 25 percent of the carbon dioxide pollution”. This is concerning because we are the world’s top developer of technologies we should have the solutions to the emission of carbon dioxide to the Earth’s atmosphere, which have caused global warming. The main source of carbon dioxide in the U.S. is the power plants, “they produce 2.5 billion tons every year” and the second source is cars, which emits “nearly 1.5 billion tons”.
We ask the administration to strictly regulate and focus on how technologies could apply to power sources to help reduce the emission of carbon dioxide. Also, not letting global warming get any worse.
