Stop infringement on 2nd ammendment. Instead pass a law for free mental illness screenings and better school security.

The 2nd Ammendment should not be infringed upon, it is every American's right to bear Arms. It's not the guns that kill innocent victims, It's the people firing the guns. Mental Illness is a serious problem in America, There would be less suicide rates, and less violent crimes, in America if there were resources available to better help identify and treat mental illnesses early. Free mental Illness screenings would help schools to identify and notify parents or gaurdians early so the right treatment can be given. We could better secure our schools by having more armed school resource officers placed at all the schools. The building structures should be reinforced, and entries into our schools should be authorized only after proper state issued Identification is shown to school staff.
