On the contraception mandate, on the ability of religious communities to hire their own ministers, and in many other ways, this administration has tried to destroy freedom of religion by redefining religion to what goes on in churches.
Religion is bigger than that and the freedom granted to us by the constitution is not a freedom for some, it is not a freedom only for priests and ministers, but a freedom for every single citizen. Freedom of religion is not merely a freedom to pray however we wish, but a freedom to act in accord with religious principles.
We cannot be compelled to ignore our religion in favor of a secular morality that the president chooses.
