Puppy mills are fertile breeding grounds of this so called commercial pet breeding industry because we have few laws that regulate these facilities.
These facilities freely sell their "products" to pet stores, private citizens and a various other other consumers. They do not have any regard to the animals, rather they or sick or dying. They are left in small cages, bred over and over, and when they are unable to breed them anymore they toss them out like trash.
It is time that we get rid of puppy mills in the United States. This is not acceptable and these animals have a right to walk in the grass, see a veterinarian when ill, play, and be loved.
