Veal is when a male calf, taken immediately away from his mother, is put in a dark crate for about 18-20 weeks. After the 18-20 weeks of life in a crate, they are slaughtered. Life in the veal crate consists of being malnourished, not being able to move for lack of muscle growth, and complete darkness. Supporting this will create a better life for the male calves born on a dairy farm because no living being should have to go through the horrible treatment that the calves are going through.
