My mother at the age of 79 had a brain aneurysm in the yr 2010 she survived the surgery but was almost brain dead & her left side was paralyzed.
After a couple of mo. We placed her in a nursing home, with tubes down her throat. In my opinion No one had too much experience on how to care for someone in her condition. Overnight I became a full time nurse. The C.N.A. Are highly over worked with little pay. The insurance companies’ only pays for 3mo stay, and then you have to take her home for 60 days. It is costly for the insurance company to do it this way & it’s very hard on the family members. My father pays $512 mo. For secondary insurance & has Medicare A&B. Let’s make a decision to overrule this 60 days/3mo stay & stop the insurance from going up once you use them.
