The vicious attacks that occurred in Paris are an indication of the dangers that "open borders" create. Every sovereign nations protects its borders. We must learn from Europe, a portion of these refugees are Islamic sympathizers. With no intention of coming to our country, learning the language, getting educated, and adapting to our culture. ISIS themselves have announced their exploitation of this Syrian refugee crisis. We must open our eyes to the simple truth. A nation's first duty is to protect its OWN citizens before it can even think of helping others. And I believe maybe Americans agree that this administration has not done a very good job of that.
