Our once great nation use to be respected and feared. Now a large litany of countries despise us and accuse us of interfering in political affairs and foreign wars of nations that we do not belong in. By doing so, we are further deteriorating our relationship and reputation among the people of the world.
Syria is no different. Every country we have intervened in, and provided weapons to in the effort to assist rebels to overthrow their regime, has come back to haunt us. These groups quickly forget that their victory was directly related to our intervention. They set up equally oppressing regimes and then turn to enemies of the state, using the weapons we supplied them with against our soldiers in future combat.
