Stop Inversion (Companies moving Headquarters overseas to avoid paying their fair share of taxes.)

Created by K.L. on July 07, 2014

28 companies on the S and P index have moved their Corporate Headquarters from the US to overseas so they can take advantage of tax loop holes and avoid paying US income taxes.. GE alone paid less taxes than the average fast food employee did last year and they had revenues in excess of $146 BILLION dollars. This has to stop. This action must be stopped now by reforming the tax code or charging the companies a fee for doing business in the US. The companies get all the benefits of being a US Corporation and share NONE of the burden.
Corporate inversion is one of the many strategies companies employ so they do not pay their fair share of the tax burden.
