Stop Dadaab Refugee Camps Closure

Stop the Involuntary Repatriation of Refugees from the Dadaab The Kenyan government issued a directive to close the Dadaab refugee camp, which houses over a half million refugees who are mainly from Somalia. The condition in Somalia until now remains fluid because of the insecurity and weak government that cannot keep them safe. Children born in the Dadaab camps are now adults and do not have nowhere to go back. If those hundreds of thousands of refugees expelled, they will be susceptible to terror attacks. We express concern for such forced deportation. Therefore, we call on the Kenyan government to uphold its responsibilities and commitment under the 1951 UN Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees to protect
