Saeed Abedini is a father or two children and former Iranian citizen. He left Iran due to religious persecution and became a US citizen. Last summer, Saeed journeyed to Iran to help open an orphanage. Upon arrival, he was pulled off a bus and placed under house arrest, then moved to Evin prison in September. The reason for his arrest is for 'evangalizing in Iran' which is a Capital Offence. He is told by his attorneys to expect the worst during an upcoming trail - death sentence. The judge he'll face, Abbas Pir-Abassi, is infamous for sending defendants to the gallows. Please sign this petition because it shouldn't matter what religious background a person has when they try to help out orphans.
