Iraq has a proposed bill going through legislation that would allow female children as young as 9 years of age to be married off to older men. The Jaafari Personal Status Law would also would allow for marital rape and other injustices.
We petition President Obama to step in and use everything in his power to stop this injustice from passing Iraqi Parliament.
