American citizens with education, experience and credentials in various hi-tech fields can not find work. Jobs are being filled with workers primarily from India who work for much less. Companies are conspiring with "universities" in India and writing curriculum for them. The only way some jobs can be filled now is if you attended that school in India and learned that exact curriculum. Companies are also making only a cursory search to fill an open position before giving to an H1B Visa holder. The goal is supposed to be to allow them to hire outside help when they absolutely can not find a qualified American. We have tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of Americans who are unemployed or underemployed because foreigners are taking jobs that they easily could fill.
