Minke Whales are being hunted by Japan for food and oil. Since 2005, people in Japan have killed 3,600 Minke whales. The United Nations made them stop hunting whales as they were almost extinct, but the ban was only temporary. The US government should help protect Minke whales and stop whale killing by Japan.
