It is disturbing that we should be subject to one mans artistic vision of such an eclectic array of stories because it is safe. His movies are fun, enjoyable romps, and he clearly gets fantastic performances from his actors, but these Movies are not profound and do not celebrate appropriately the themes of the source material.
Star Wars was important to many us Mr. President. But this chance at redemption, a chance to once again catch lighting in a bottle, is under siege by fear. Fear to take chance and tell a profound story.
Help us President Obama, you are our only Hope.
