We also urge the Obama administration to redirect all efforts towards building new oil refineries along the northern border with Canada. Let Canada pipe their tar sands oil to our new refineries.
We are in desperate need of additional refining capabilities. Additional refining will lower fuel prices for the consumer and using the Canadian oil will reduce our dependence on Middle East oil. The massive new refineries will create thousands of needed jobs to operate the plants and many times that to support them and provided services to the new oil workers.
Lower fuel prices will ease financial burdens on every citizen across the country. The new capabilities will create a more stable fuel supply.
