The Keystone Pipeline XL will bring about the destruction of oxygen, land, water, and the health of the American people and animals. While many republicans like to believe they have found a safer way to transport oil, it only takes one disaster to reign the water and air of the US useless. Even though one could argue that we should reduce the amount of carbon emissions released by the US to as little as possible, the republicans have argued that the Keystone Pipeline XL will only create a 17% increase in Carbon emissions. While they want people to believe that's a small number, any increase in carbon emissions can result in disaster. If the republicans are worried about job creation, they would fund the creation of jobs in eco-friendly energy creation because those will last much longer.
