Stop Keystone XL Pipeline: does not promise significant employment or energy independence. It risks farmland and water.

Created by K.B. on June 06, 2013

Obama and his administration want to build a Tar Sands Pipeline called the Keystone XL Pipeline. This stuff is tar. It has to be processed just to move it. What makes it worse is when it leaks. Nobody knows what to do with it or how to clean it. It happened in Kalamazoo, and one billion dollars later they still can't fix it. This Pipeline would go through the heart of America's farmland and waterways so that a foreign corporation (from china) that has made no promises to sell the oil to us, can take it back to China. It offers 35 permanent jobs and 3900 jobs that would last for 6 months. It would be a disastrous legacy to leave scarring America, and risking our water and agriculture.
