The Keystone XL pipeline will create some temporary jobs but will cause long-term damage to our environment. Those cleanup efforts may also result in some temporary jobs, but no cleanup is 100% effective. One look at the damage caused by the spill in Arkansas should cause anyone to think twice about approving the much larger Keystone XL pipeline. I realize there is a need for an "all of the above" policy, but "all of the above" should not include being OK with massive pollution of our waterways and backyards.
Please, think long-term rather than short-term, and focus on less dirty energy.
