Stop Kicking The Fiscal Can Down The Road! Spending cuts now THEN , we can consider tax increases.

Everytime congress votes to raise taxes on the American people they promise to offset the tax increases with spending cuts. This on the surface sounds reasonable but history has shown that they find a way to weasel out of the spending cuts. Usually the tax increases are immediate but the spending cuts are scheduled to occur at some later time when they think that we do not remember what they promised, or even at a time that those that made the promises may not even be in office any longer. We must demand that this time spending cuts occur FIRST! Most in congress do agree that we do need spending cuts, but none want to be the one to actually vote for any cuts. We must hold their feet to the fire so that they actually perform ther DUTY! Don't weasel out congress, SPENDING CUTS FIRST!
