How the gays survive in Jamaica Is a book by a Jamaican author but it also takes into consideration the value placed on the lives of the LGBT community. It tells true stories, and this is where the problems lie. The evidence of torture and murder is clear and real. I am concerned that this is an homophobic country yet still a tourist zone. Any citizen from any country could be drawn into this hate game and be murdered. I am proposing that we seek to look on how the gays survive in Jamaica before we are forced to do so. Black lives matter and so too gay lives. Let us petition that greater attention be paid to innocent lives being lost in this reggae paradise. Let us push to protect people of the world with this petition.
