Simply having stricter gun laws will not stop massacres such as those in Aurora and Newtown. We need proper laws, that work.
I am not an American, but I believe what happens with firearms in the United States needs to change.
First, media censorship is needed. I understand what freedom is and that this would be limiting it, but ever since the Newtown shooting incident in 2012, a dozen or more smaller incidents have occurred. Why? Because people see it on the news, see what panic it causes, and want to do it for themselves.
Two, is that gun laws do need to be tightened. Americans believe they have a right to own a gun, and that should not be challenged. What should be challenged is how many guns are owned by an individual, and whether they are kept locked away or not.
