A White-Faced Capuchin Monkey was shot an killed by authorities today after escaping his cage in Chillicothe, MO. Police said they ran out of tranquilizer darts and had no choice but to kill the monkey. The monkey was just running and they killed him. The owner told them it was not vicious. Stop the use of deadly force on wild animals unless the animal is coming at you and you think you are going to die. Also come prepared with your tranquilizer darts. Animals shouldn't have to die for no reason.
