We petition the U.S. Government, and it's current President, Barack Obama not to coninue on the road to authoritarianism.
No President can order the assassination of American citizens, or others who are not on any battlefield, at his on whim. Due process DOES mean judicial process. You are legitimizing and codifying powers that future presidents and administrations will use in ways neither you nor I can imagine. This is, indeed, the proverbial 'slippery slope'.
Every person in the United States is entitled to protection under the Constitution from arbitrary arrest or assassination. Your attempts to deny these protections will lead to the nullification of any idea that we are a nation of laws, not men.
