It's amazing that during Presidential elections, the candidates are so concerned with belng elected, that they lose sight of important issues. The mass-killing of sheltered animals across the United States is totally un-necessary, and (must) end now. There are other solutions to the issues, such as outdoor shelters, and trap/fix/release programs appearing in numerous States. The cages themselves are what the 'real' problem is in these shelters. These animals have just as much right to live on this Planet Earth as any other living creature, if not more. To take their lives just to created more space for humans is an action that can only be described as sub-human. By signing this Petition, you are demanding that it become Illegal to kill any sheltered animal unless their health warrants it.
