We ask the Whitehouse to work with congress and the courts to create a new system for trying U.S. citizens in their absence. Even if it is proven to be unfeasible to bring a citizen home for trial, they must still retain the right to a jury of their peers before being subject to assassination. We would like the Administration to suspend any killing of U.S. citizens abroad without trial until such a time as this new system is in place. If the rights of any citizen are violated then the rights of all citizens are violated. We accept any potential gaps in security this policy may create. We would rather be less safe than go without rights.
