The popular media is used as a way to swing votes to a certain direction, to make people think a certain way, and to influence the direction of the United States. Maybe that's a good thing, in the end: We want differing viewpoints to come to our own and be more educated in the end. But when these sources outright lie and fabricate information to the point of becoming propaganda, it has breached any sort of worthiness of being called 'news'.
