Stop labeling video games as bad influences for children!

Created by D.L. on December 16, 2013

Dear Mr. President,
I have only one request: STOPblaming video games as brain-damaging to our children! Usually I, an experienced gamer, play Call of Duty, Battlefield and Grand Theft Auto. But these games do not make me a bad person. My argument is mainly fueled by the blaming of violent video games to be the influence for shootings. The only time this has actually been the case (a video game causing violent thoughts) was the Columbine High School Massacre. Just becasue two kids played DOOM one time and influenced one school shooting, you CANNOT blame video games for all shootings. It is very wrong. If by that logic (violent video games make me a bad person), then what about other game genres like cooking and flight simulators. You are wrong, people. Know the facts before you accuse us.
