As Americans we deserve to be protected from large corporations who only care about profit growth and not the longevity of life on this planet. Many times we feel helpless against giant corporations who financially influence and lobby legislature to benefit their needs in the short term. Yet in the long term many of these decisions have a lasting effect on our environment and climate. We need protection for our future from these greed driven corporations to secure a sustainable life for our descendants that will be worth living for. Corporations shouldn't be influencing life changing decisions without our input just to meet their quarterly profit projection goals. Why should the future of our planet be controlled by those who only look to profit without thinking of the repercussions.
