It is an outrage that a federal court has ruled that police can shoot a dog if it MOVES or BARKS when an officer enters a home.It is inhumane and also will give free reign for the killing of innocent and likely harmless dogs all across the country,one may as well give permission to shoot a dog for breathing.Vastly unnecessary and lacking in intelligence this brutish move does nothing.
Officers could merely demand the owners to take away the dogs or at best make sure police officers have their cameras on and make it only legal to wound,not slay the dog.Then press charges against any deaths caused by these officers.There are so may ways to protects officers AND pets.A country shall be judged according to how they treat their animals and this is a filthy action that must be reversed!
