With all the hype surrounding the legal ownership of firearms, we are forgetting the illegal firearm problem in the USA. I implore you begin legislation on removing firearms from those that illegally obtain them. What Feinstein is proposing is to take away legally obtained Firearms from LAW ABIDING CITIZENS. What is she planning on doing about the majority of the weapons that are used in violent crimes that are illegally obtained? This is where the focus needs to be turned. Not penalizing responsible legal firearm owners who are not committing the majority of the violent acts.
